I got this idea when I was operating a home kindergarten. Laundry detergent bottles are so sturdy!! It’s a shame to throw them away!!
We’ve also used them in the sand, to carry objects outside, etc. The handle makes it quite handy for children, and you can use them for anything you wish!
So you will need an empty plastic laundry detergent bottle (liquid soap for cleaning clothes).
The hardest part in this project is to remove the label! With some warm water, a small knife or a spoon, and lots of patience, you will have terrific results!
Then, it’s time to cut: with a felt pen, draw a line following the design you wish to make with the bottle. Each bottle is different, but it is easy to draw ideas from the design of the bottle itself.
Then, cut carefully using an Exacto knife.
Voilà!
I’ve had mine for five years! Very hard-wearing! And so practical to store small pieces when you have to clean up the play room quickly!!!
