Do you remember the joy of opening a handmade gift as a kid? That warm, fuzzy feeling that someone put their heart into creating something just for you? Well, I have a fabulous idea to bring that joy back—and it involves DIY Christmas Earrings!
Imagine gifting your friends and family adorable, sparkling earrings that you crafted yourself. Not only will you save some loonies and toonies, but you'll also add a personal touch that money simply can't buy.
Curious to get started? Let's dive into some jolly and crafty fun together!
With the SNOWFLAKE cabochon package, I was able to make 11 pairs to make earrings. It may vary depending on the package you receive but it is certain that you will be able to make 5 pairs for a budget of less than $15 --> $3 per gift!
To make these earrings, you'll need some cabochon earring settings, which are simple metal frames that hold a round, flat piece of glass or plastic.
You can find these earring settings HERE. Finally, you'll need some glue to fix the cabochon into the settings. I prefer using E6000 glue as it is strong and dries clear. It is also waterproof and heat resistant, making it perfect for jewelry making.
Once you have your materials, the process is simple. Just glue the snowflake cabochon onto settings, then add earring backs of your choice. Voila! You now have a pair of cute and festive earrings that are perfect for Christmas and to wear all winter long.

To make dangle earrings, you just have to buy a 12mm pendant settings and glue another cabochon in the setting. Then add earring hooks (hypoallergenic is even better).

Making necklace, bracelet and rings
With the remaining cabochons, it's easy to make necklaces. Simply buy a 12mm pendant settings and glue another cabochon in the setting.
All that remains is to add a jump ring or a bail to be able to put it on a chain. To add a personal touch, simply add this lovely coin initial charm.
And ultimately, you could make a ton of rings with these ring settings.
As you can see, creating DIY Christmas jewelry is not only a fun and festive activity, but also a fantastic way to make unique and budget-friendly gifts. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, these little gems are bound to bring a sparkle to anyone’s holiday season. 🎄✨
So, gather your materials, get creative, and let your holiday spirit shine through your handiwork. Happy crafting, and may your holidays be as bright and beautiful as the jewelry you'll create! 🎅🎁
