Easy DIY coin earrings - Fun jewelry making gift ideas
Are you looking for a unique and creative way to accessorize your outfits? Why not try making your own coin earrings? Not only are they easy to make, but they’re also a great way to repurpose old coins and add a touch of personality to your jewelry collection.

Coin jewelry has been around for thousands of years and is a timeless fashion piece that has a lot of symbolism and mysticism associated with it. Coins have long been associated with wealth, prosperity, and good fortune, as well as love and affection, making them a popular choice for jewelry.

Using coins to make fun gifts is a great idea, and choosing the birth year coin makes it even more special and meaningful. So, grab your coins and let’s get started!

Simply thrift two identical coins, of the same date. If you can’t find what you need, maybe you can you can mix two dates that are meaningful to you or the person who will receive the gift. It is also always possible to buy coins in specialized stores. You could then also choose coins from other countries, to remind you of a trip.

Then you only need to glue earring posts with E6000 or any other jewelry glues. Let's dry 24 hours and then add earring backs of your choice.

And if you don't want the coin to touch your skin, you can make it into a pendant by gluing it on a bail, and use a front loop earwire.

And if your coin fits perfectly in a pendant setting, it could make a great earring charm too!
